The Beginning
In 2000, Marlene Casteleiro started as an independent consultant due to the growing demand for assisted living facilities that required advice for their opening, licensing and subsequent operation as a business. At that time it was a freelance job that she did from her own car, but it earned her a name and prestige in the sector.
Many of those early clients were first-time business owners and depended entirely on the knowledge and advice they needed to get started. From that individual perspective, she contributed to the opening of several assisted living and home health care facilities primarily in the Miami and Hialeah areas.
Growth and Expansion
In 2007, with the support of several collaborators who continue by her side today, she transformed that individual business into a corporation to meet the growing demand for business operators and their staff in the provision of health care services for the elderly, disabled or dependent adults.
The concept soon proved to be accepted by their clients and generated new opportunities, second openings and referrals. Billing and payment management, applications for aids, as well as training courses and their renewals are added to the consulting services.
The future
Casteleiro Network emerges as an idea at the end of 2019 and materializes in 2020 in the midst of a harsh global pandemic caused by the coronavirus. Casteleiro Network's vision is to establish itself as a benchmark company for healthcare providers throughout Florida and other regions of the United States by providing on a single platform all the services required by assisted living facilities, adult family care homes, adult day care centers, nursing registries, home health agencies, healthcare clinics and home medical equipment operators.
